#I have no context menu when I right click on desktop

I did! No joy
If you can't, you may want to check your mouse settings
Hi, macOS doesn’t have a right-click context menu for the Desktop.
To add a widget, open Notification center, click on “Edit Widgets…” and then drag a widget to your desktop. You can then use Control+Click on the widget to make changes, e.g., size etc.
I use an MX Master 3, and had it set up for a right click function. Currently if i click on the desktop it doesn't clear windows away, no context menu opens up to allow me to edit widgets, the only way I'm able to is to select notifications and drag and drop which was not the only method i was able to use a few days ago.
That sounds like a mouse vendor issue, then. If you enabled some third party mouse app, I dunno. I can only tell you that macOS doesn’t have a right-click on Desktop function
Do you have a different mouse or the internal trackpad (if applicable) you can test with?
hold on, i do
Yep. Just tried to get a response from my apple trackpad (using an M4 mini pro, btw so not a laptop) and no response.
Try a different port ig
They're wireless
Try wired
Nothing
If I reset macOS, it keeps my apps installed right?
Uh
Honestly no idea
I don’t think it does via default, but I’ve only ever reinstalled from recovery
That's what I meant
