#YouTube not auto rotating during browsing
47 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I think it's a design choice by youtube in their app
YouTube doesn't rotate on the home screen
That would be painful if it did, to try to watch while in bed or something
And it does so on android
For suggestions to YouTube
In the App Store, you can find contact information for app developers, including developers of Apple Arcade games.
This is not something Apple will be able to solve
Same app on two different OS
with two different results
I find it funny that it works on android but not on apple
It does not work on my phone with 18.3.1 so it is something either with the ios update or the latest youtube version that doesn't allow the app to rotate on the home screen
Either way it's not on Apple to solve
Heck it works on safari too
It works on safari which is weird but not the actual app
Web versions and apps are usually very different
I hope it’s not the recent update that broke it
If you check the app versions on the different devices you'll be able to determine what update is the one that broke it
If the app version is the same on both but not the ios it's ios related, if it is not the same it could be either
Android is 20.06.36. The picture is the IOS version
You thinking it’s the IOS update version that’s causing it?
I meant the app versions between the two apple devices
NEVER MIND I'M TIRED LMAO
You didn’t read and you want to say it’s my fault wow
Nah I am just far too tired I'm sorry lol
It's difficult to say exactly what is causing it, but apple will not fix it, it's something for YouTube to fix
Same app across two different systems but the version numbers are different
BTW
Could it be that i turned on to join beta programs somewhere in IOS????
Is there such a thing?
I mean it's unlikely because I'm not on the beta and have the same thing
I decided to use IOS after a long while, yeah was android for most.
Thanks though
I’ll keep a lookout for what’s up
Thanks again
Sorry for the yelling
Hope you have a good day ahead
All gucci hahah, likewise!
Don't forget to mark as resolved
How do I that
