YouTube not auto rotating during browsing
It does so on mobile version as in m YouTube
The apple YouTube app doesn’t though.
The android YouTube app does auto rotate while browsing.
Both screens are from my IPhone

It does not work on my phone with 18.3.1 so it is something either with the ios update or the latest youtube version that doesn't allow the app to rotate on the home screen

Either way it's not on Apple to solve

If you check the app versions on the different devices you'll be able to determine what update is the one that broke it

#

If the app version is the same on both but not the ios it's ios related, if it is not the same it could be either

It's difficult to say exactly what is causing it, but apple will not fix it, it's something for YouTube to fix

Beta programs for iOS do not affect the YouTube app.
This is definitely something for YouTube to fix, if they want to.
