my friend got his phone screen replaced by a shop and since the replacement it reboots after 5-10 mins of using it, then it just got stuck in a bootloop, ive replaced the battery for him but still no luck

Did you try doing a DFU restore using a Windows or Mac computer?

Any data that hasn't been backed up will be lost. You may be able to try an update instead of a restore, but you won't have as much luck.

If you didn't have a backup, there would be no way to retrieve the data unless it was backed up to iCloud.

You're cooked, no way to retrieve the data if there was no backup. The bootloop could be due to full storage.

Chances are a restore might get the phone working again, but you won't be able to retrieve any data from the device.
