yes it should be good enough. before you buy, check if it is compatible with all the software your school requires you to run

You'd be surprised. Some schools have very specific requirements. The one I went to had remote proctored exams as part of the program, and the exam vendor's program only ran on Windows.

(And you weren't allowed to run it in a VM)
