I’d suggest you report this issue to Apple, or contact them via chat might be worth having a full on diagnostic on your device, it does likely seem to be a software glitch but try contacting Apple see what they say

I was thinking of it, but what could they really do? I had many issues with this phone they quite literally just aren’t helpful about
They say the most basic “troubleshooting measures”, and that’s the end of it
It’s such a bummer, cause where I’m from this phone cost way too much

You can book an appointment to have your device looked at by a technician to see if there’s some fault in it
Otherwise a proper restore of the OS should fix it

You know, I had an appointment last week with a technician yet they didn’t do anything! They didn’t even come to the arranged time, neither did they reply to the email I sent days ago
I’ve a major issue with my Apple ID, where a variation of my phone number is registered as the main phone number - but that phone number literally cannot be real as the country code is +38, which is from Yugoslavia
They said they’d remove it, like the technician team, but I’ve yet to hear from any of them
It has been an incredibly frustrating time for me

Ohh that’s a shame and quite frustrating, troubleshooting methods I could tell you to try is going a restore of your device though , reset all settings and try again

Restart?? Ohh if you mean a restore you’d have to backup your device (with a computer or with iCloud) and then restore
