iPhone not showing up on Apple Devices

guys, i need help
got my new phone, and some some reason im unable to transfer my data from iPhone to iPhone
so i thought ill back it up on my pc, then trasfer it to the new phone
but when i plug my old phone, its not showing up on the Apple Devices app
i tried plugging in my moms phone (same phone, iPhone 11), it showed up

Restart both devices at the same time

And use a different cord

Idk why Apple devices is so fidgety but it is

Hi there did you use a different cable by any chance ?
And it might also help to try reinstalling the Apple device app
Or restart the service
I blv your using a windows pc yeah?
So just press windows r type services.msc press enter look for the apple device service and restart it

Or try force detection ie plug the iPhone into the pc and force restart the iPhone it should detect it

done, went to computer management and deleted my device from there

It’s so annoying when I try to back up my phone it just decides not to connect

Also when you first connect the iPhone to your pc did you receive any prompt on the iPhone to trust this computer???

If you were using iTunes tho you could just Connect your old iPhone to your pc and open iTunes or Finder., Sync specific data like music, photos, or contacts to your computer:
so from In iTunes select your iPhone.
Then just Use the tabs to choose what data (e.g., Music, Photos, Contacts, etc.) you want to sync to your PC.
Once synced, this data will be available on your PC.

Then Transfer Data to New iPhone:
Connect your new iPhone to your PC., Open iTunes again, and select your new iPhone.
Sync the same data (music, photos, contacts) from your PC to your new iPhone.

No they’re not part of iTunes back up your WhatsApp to iCloud manually from WhatsApp settings
So once you install WhatsApp you’d be able to restore
(Recommended way)

yes BUT you would need to back up your old phone using itunes and also make sure you select the "encrypt iphone backup "option (it backs up your health data, settings, stuff like that)

so then connect your new Iphone open itunes and then u should see restore (restore from itunes backup) then shoose the backup youve just made and then make the backup, so everything from your old device would be restored to your new device including apps, etc

it MIGHT not, theres a chance you might have to manually transfer that from the cellular settings

yeah it is, although it might take some time for the e-sim to get activated, you could always contact your carrier to also help in transfering your e-sim unto a new device

you encrypted your backup and it probably asked you to create a password so use that

There’s no way it would ask you for a password if you didn’t tick the encrypt back up and then put in a password
So you didn’t type in any password at all?

i didnt put anything now, and i dont remeber putting it before

cant i like just forget my password and create a new one? i understand if i cant change the pw for the old backups, but i cant even remove it without the old one'
