Yeah iOS 18 doesn’t seem like the best for battery life
That sounds normal.
You can install the "Thermals" app from the app store to monitor the actual internal temps to see if there's a problem, but generally if the phone is warm, the thermal controls are doing what they're supposed to be doing
This is because MacRumors seems to have forgetten the "plug your device in at night, and leave it locked and connected to wifi so the background stuff happens
That won’t bend it
I don’t think it would be physical damage of the battery
Just age
I’ve had mine for a year and a half now and I’m at 89%
How long a charge lasts is determined by what the device is doing, e.g., how much power it’s consuming, and how charged the battery was. Battery health only tells you the maximum charge level the battery can take.
What does the battery settings tell you about power consumption by apps? It may be advisable to turn off background refresh on social media apps like tiktok that are known to eat batteries for lunch.
A. If it’s not physically bent it’s not internally bent but

Well… that’s probably from damage yes
That does seem odd
Maybe the streaks are meant to be there, or even just a thing that’s wrong with them, and the light shining from the back glass is because of a bit of bending
