It’s been about a week since I got my watch and it’s been good until last night. Today the battery drain has been massive. About 50% battery suddenly dropped in span of 3-3.5 hours. I haven’t changed any settings or anything. It’s a GPS only model.

Yup. Brand new series 10.
Noo, you don't have to.
Like I said, it's a software issue, 99.9%.
My consumption is now normal after a few days of usage.
This happened only once.

A little, not much. That's totally normal.
