I’ve used 3u tools quite a few times and nothing bad has happened to me. I honestly don’t think it’s malware

If you are worried about 3uTools stealing your data, don't worry
If you're downloaded the app from the app store, there is no need to worry. Apple strictly checks all applications. However, it is true that 4-5 years ago there were examples of such applications stealing data. If you don't give permission to see your bank details ,or photos and videos, the chances of this app or any other app stealing them are extremely low.

the application may not be secure. Please think if anyone out of 10 million people would stand out? let's stay realistic. Usually, these data are uploaded to a server and from there they are blocked within 1.2 months (in good situation)

Not necessarily, if people aren't careful what they download, viruses could infect
iOS isn't virus proof, but it's a lot harder to get one
