do you get the apple logo at the start of boot?
When you visit the link on the screen it offers this info: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102164?cid=mc-ols-mac-article_ht211868-macos_ui-09292020
The firmware of your Mac needs to be revived.
@spiral river
I saw that but what cable do i use because i already did it and it won’t pop up on my other mac
i’m using a c to c samsung 45w super fast charging cable official one
should be data too
Are you plugging it into the correct port?
Where you plug it in matters apparently
A USB-C cable
I am using that
It won’t pop up in my other mac though
i’m finder or in apple configuration
configurator*
Do you have another USB-C cable you can use?
Also, at the bottom of the page, it lists this out
how do i check 1 is good?
How to check if the cable is good? Not too sure.
I have never revived a Mac’s firmware, so I’m not to sure how that goes.
I use it to charge my samsung all the time
Ok. Your saying the Mac isn’t reading it with that particular cable, so it probably doesn’t like it for whatever reason.
I’m not too sure why that’s be the case.
Unless it’s data transfer speeds aren’t fast enough
It can have fast charging speeds, but that’s not data transfer speeds.
That’s two different things
You may need to try a different cable, if not you can contact Apple Support. They could definitely fix that.
I have no other cable unfortunately
why not buy another cable
and then return it after
