Macbook Air M2 or Mac Mini M2?

Hello, so I live in Qatar but I'm going to Canada in a few weeks for summer, I was wondering if I should get the macbook air m2 or the mac mini m2. I already have a monitor and a mouse and keyboard. However, my dell inspiron 13 5310 laptop got damaged easily somehow with one drop and i was considering buying a new macbook. What do I get?

hi there if you like portability more and would like to use your device anywhere for ex plane, airport… the m2 air is the better option. But if you want pc experience the m2 mac mini will be suggested. I hope this helps

Not at all. Have m2 mb air and have never experienced heating or even warming issues since I bought it last year.

honestly idk what to chose

its cheaper to get 16gb ram and 512gb on mac mini compared to the m2 macbook air

its literally the same price

i wont be doing intense tasks tho

i think for school and many other stufff the m2 air base is probably the best for you

ive run some very intense roblox games like blox fruit for hours on my base model macbook air m1, not a single heating issue nor performance.

I have the m1 MacBook Pro 13” and it gets warm while playing, but never gotten hot from playing it

And I gotten the base version

I have MacBook Pro 13” from my experience from playing games I don’t think there was a drop in fps
