What macbook should I get, my budget around 1100 Euro, from Malta (Europe) preferably 14" or 15", backlit keyboard, 16GB RAM, amazing screen
Switching from windows on a thinkpad e14 14", looking for something much better, especially in the screen and performance.
Going to be using the laptop all the time, for work and school. Mostly programming

are you talking brand new from apple?
With that budget you could probably look at an M3 MBP
or if need be the M3 Pro / Space black variant for a little more, but I believe that goes over budget
where can i get an m3 macbook pro for 1100?
what's the difference between air and pro?
my budget could be like 1200 or a little more
The most noteworthy differences are the 60 vs 120hz display, extra ports, larger form factor, and improved speakers, but Apple details the differences in more detail here.
that’s the Canadian site so the prices won’t match your currency but everything else should be ok
so if i get an air it wouldnt be that bad?
Not at all, Air is the most bang-for-buck for sure
mostly web development
a lot of apps open too, so i think the 16gb ram would be better
16 GB sounds like the way to go for sure
With that budget the M3 Air sounds like the way to go
has to be 13.6 inch tho?
i really want 15
but theyre more expensive
i think
You can get 15 if you want, you’re the one paying for it
i mean if i were to stay at that price point
prioritizing 15 inch over m3 or is that not a good decision
The 15 is more expensive, so if you want it you’ll need to shell out another 100 or so
I’d take a 13” M3 over 15” M2 any day of the week
13 inch too small
ill see if i can get 15" m3
i see
Is this good? https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/299696499740704
The downside of it for me is 13 inch beacuse i really want 14 or higher
whys that
Is macbook air m1 still good in 2024? Is it still worth it?
