My iPhone 15 pro max is not receiving messages from Android phones using google messages. Started this week. They get my messages but I don’t get theirs. One of my friends turned off encryption on his google messages and I got it. Anyone else.

SMS is what most Android devices use

iMessage is the default when communicating between two iPhones

Does your friend happen to have RCS on?

I have a friend who has sent messages with RCS and it's been fine

Volume up, volume down, then hold the side button till you see the Apple logo

Nope. I called my carrier, Verizon, the said the couldn’t find and issue and contact Apple

Same issue as you, on my iPhone 13 Pro on 14.4.1, and same for some of my friends not reciving messages from Android, guess it might be a bug or somethin.

Haven’t find any solution, so i just use messenger for android friends atm
