Iphone 8 calling issue

Whenever i call people on my iphone 8, They always complain that my voice is barely audible and i always have to speak very loudly inorder for them to hear me. I tried recording a voice memo, but that seems really fine
My iphone is on ios 16.7.1 if that helps

But its fine in other things

like

if i do a voice memo

the mic is fine

and while recording videos, the mic audio is fine

but the issue only arises when calling

Most likely not as I was 16.7.7 is mostly for security updates and bug fixes

No, by going into Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All settings

You’ll still have all your data like messages, emails, contacts, etc

But things will be reset such as what apps have access to your location, what your wallpaper is, etc
