Sometimes when I get a call it does not show the screen with their contact poster and I only know if they called when my carrier sends me a text. Can anybody explain why?

Not sure if this will work, but try resetting your network settings. Do keep in mind when you do you’ll have to re-login into your Wi-Fi networks.
