the airpods pro don't work the best with non idevices
they;'ll work
well i have a macbook and i will mainly be using them with the macbook (for school and homework) but i will sometimes use them for like other stuff (traveling, gym) where i really just want to have music in nothing else. the touch controls and stuff would still work right? and i could change the name, settings etc on my macbook
Coming from an M1 13” MacBook Pro and 3rd Gen AirPods, it’s pretty fast when connecting to it (if you have previously connected to it last) you wouldn’t have any audio differences, only difference between using it on your Mac on Samsung would probably be the lack of features you can you use on your AirPod, like you prob be able to use noice canceling, but that is prob what I would only know, I am not sure how it work (someone lemme know how AirPods would work on Android). You prob just sacrifice features when using your Samsung, other than that, it should work like any other AirPods
yeah so its fine. i could get airpods now and change settings and use it on my macbook and just connect to my samsung whenever i'd want to go to the gym or something. would i lose on sound quality?
ik you can change anc with the airpods so that doesnt matter
From my personal experience, using AirPods with a non-Apple device still delivers great sound quality, and you'll still be able to use ANC and Transparency modes, but you won't get the full experience of spatial audio and being able to actually see your battery percentage. However since you have a MacBook, you'll get to unlock the full potential of your AirPods. But at the end of the day, it comes down to asking yourself if it's really worth it to have a second pair of high quality wireless earbuds. You'll have a better experience with your Galaxy Buds with your Samsung phone. I think the better question to ask yourself is if you'll be using your MacBook more than your phone.
true
if you know someone who wants the Galaxy bud or u going to sell it, different story
but if you going to keep it, just consider if it is worth dropping $200 bucks on a headset that you can maximise its full potential on only one device
would you know if airpods are better then galaxy buds? i've heard the anc is marginally better, which is why i'm considering them
i could easily sell them for 150-200ish (i got them for 170 off kogan)
I think you should get the Galaxy Buds since you have a Samsung phone and it will deliever a more streamlined experience between the two devices more than the AirPods on a non android phone.
i already have the galaxy buds, i wanted to upgrade to airpods. also, now that i'm thinking of it i probably will switch to iphone in around a year
then, yeah, the AirPods might be your best bet. if you're gonna switch to an iPhone get the second generation from Amazon for like $99.
99? i'm lookin for the pro 2nd gen haha
oh, if you have the money for that, then that's perfect. Those are like the best ones.
Yes, it has more bass, the sides have a volume slider and the adaptive audio is a trip!
oh thats sick
ill have to use them for like a year untill i get an iphone
but them on android shouldnt be that bad right
No, I mean you wont get most of the features but it should work.
Oh, mac will work great!
