Urgent - iPhone 15 upgrade for my family

My two sons both have an iPhone SE from 2016 and my daughter and wife all have iPhone 11s (2 iPhone SE 2016, 3 iPhone 11s). Should I upgrade my wife and daughter to the new iPhone 15 and give my two sons our 11s while trading in one of our 11s for the iPhone 15? Or should I keep our iPhone 11s and buy both of my sons the new 15? Or alternatively have our sons keep their iPhone SE and we three get the new iPhone 15 trading in our old iPhone 11s. Everyone in my family uses their phone regularly for work and school!

There are 3 options I have for buying the iPhone 15, which one should I choose, they are listed above.

Do they break or drop their previous phones a lot

In none of mine did I say I want to for my entire family, here are the options:

-My two sons get iPhone 15 while the rest keep their 11s.

-Get me, my wife & daughter the new iPhone 15s trading in our old 11s. Our sons keep their SE from 2016.

-My daughter, wife and I get the new 15s and give our sons the 11s, and we have one iPhone 11 left over to trade in.

Our entire family uses their phones regularly to do schoolwork and socialize. My sons both are complaining about the battery life. They want the 15 for performance that I don't need, so should I keep my 11?
