@nimble urchin Do you know if with the new family center thing on discord if as long as the child under 13 is on a family center thing, they are allowed to be on discord provided they are being properly monitored?

I'm just asking, because a friend of mine's sister is only 10 and the friend of mine is 18 but I wasn't sure if he was able to have his sister join him in voice chat when playing together instead of having to scream at each other across the house when playing certain games.

Secondly, if you haven't seen, I have a specific role that tells you, "Hey, I'm here for tech support."

Discord's policy generally requires users to be at least 13 years old. The Family Center is designed to help parents and their kids to have conversations about safe and healthy use of Discord. It's important to note that the child has to agree to give the parent access and must provide their parent with a time-sensitive QR code to finish activating the feature.

While there are discussions in the community about allowing users under 13 with parental permission and supervision, it's best to check Discord's official policies or contact their support for the most accurate and up-to-date information. Remember, online safety is important, especially for younger users.

Kind of the same with other social media.
