The microphone on my airpods pro 2 is just terrible . It sounds like im speaking from afar and no one can hear me clearly on calls or anything . Ive already tried cleaning the speaker grill with a micro brush and fixing mic to left side . Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance .

You could try unpairing them from your phone. Then set them up again. See if that helps.

I honestly don't think there isn't much you can do other than taking it to apple
Plus airpods are notorious for mic sounding horrible at times

do you have AppleCare and a UPS store near you?
cause when I started a mail-in repair for mine, they told me to get a box and take it to the UPS store, and the UPS store would ship it to Apple for free

cause if you have a UPS store, then you should have AppleCare because you could ship it to the repair center through the UPS store. That's what I did with my headphones when mine got messed up with my microphone.
