I have a personal iPhone 13 with only a little bit of data that I bought 2 weeks ago. I'm going to use it for the CarPlay on my Toyota Rav4. I also have a company cell phone that has unlimited data. I want to connect my personal cell phone to my company cell phone using hotspot and then using carplay via my personal cell phone. I've read online that using a hotspot/ connecting to one uses lots of battery life. Does this drain the battery life of the phone connecting to the hotspot or sending out the hotspot signal?
#Is the battery drain worth it?

Usually the one supplying supplying the signal takes the most hit, which in your case is the company-supplied phone.
Yeah that's what I figured
