#M1 or M2 macbook air

At this point, the M1 is pretty old and idk why Apple still sells it new at the same price. It's still great, but it's probably only worth buying if you get it refurbished or used.
So if you're buying new, I'd say get the M2 - they actually just lowered the starting price on that a few weeks ago
Thx, I've also heard that to get 16gb of ram no matter what model you're getting, but is it really worth since I'm justing using it for school and assignements and web browsing, I just want a macbook that lasts me a long time with no issues.
Either one will last for a long time no problem
So the ram doesn't matter so much?
People say that they can get away just fine with 8, whether 16 is worth it or not depends on what you're doing

if u care about ssd speed and are not get 512gb or more ssd then the m1 air would be faster technically
