Been a while since I’ve had a new device… is the oleophobic coating supposed to feel grippy when I’m touching the screen or using my apple pencil?
The noise my Apple Pencil made only happened twice and I tried to take a video but it stopped happening. It was like a loud squeaky sound…
I have an iPhone 11 and my last iPad is 6 years old so it hasn’t had the oleophobic coating hasn’t been on it for years.
Is this all normal?

I’ve never heard of this, usually hydrophobic coatings tend to make the screen feel smoother, in my opinion. Not sure why the Apple Pencil would be making squeaking noises

It was making small skips. I exchanged it cause there was a manufacturing defect
