So I'm planning on purchasing an Apple watch, I have been waiting for a redesign for either the 41mm or 45mm and I'm impatient, so I was wondering what is a good apple watch for a cheap price. Looking for a
-brand new
-series4 or above
-worth the bucks(im on a budget)
-mainly for sleep tracking, steps, messages, unlock devices, time and basic things. Preferably with aod and with cycle tracking.
I'm thinking of like an se but idrk if its that good, i just want an apple watch to like pass the time while waiting for redesign

Apple watch series 5

#

SE honestly isnt worth it

#

its barely any cheaper than the flagship and you get about a 10th the features

#

you can get a series 6/7 on apples refurb store for about the same price probably

#

and if you want to get a flagship in the future you can get a series 4/5 on ebay for quite cheap

#

im on a series 4 rn and its still fully upto date despite not doing much. i want to get a series 5 for the compass, but if you dont want a compass the series 4 will be more than enough as just like an in-between until you buy a flagship in the future

It took them like 6 years to add a compass to it 🤣

I think there’s a few more, but that’s the main one for me cos I use mine a lot for navigation

#

It’s really hard to tell which direction I’m going. I have to walk a few meters and see which way the dot goes and go in the opposite direction

#

what about find my location

They all have GPS yeah

#

Just the series 4 doesn’t have a compass

But no difference other than that?

I think there’s a few

#

But I wouldn’t know off the top of my head

#

If you go onto apples comparison page you can select a few different models and it gives you a list of features and compares specs etc

#

If you want my recommendation, find a cheap used/referb series 5 and upgrade to a new flagship in a year or two, or get a series 6 or 7 from apple’s refurbished store and use that for a few years
