Materials a Plenty Vol. 2!
This one is an idea I had years ago, and I deleted it by accident, with ideas for both material drops and related upgrades. Maybe this would be unlocked after getting a book with the title above somewhere in the Village.
Silver Shard
Obtainable by bumping into a Silver Box, with a low chance.

- Metal-morphosis (50 Silver Shards and other materials):
Silver Boxes have a 5% chance to turn into a Golden Box, with triple the multipliers and bonuses.
Stinger
Obtainable by slaying Wasps.

- Fierce Pierce (200 Stingers and other materials):
Whenever you slay an enemy with an arrow, the other enemies gain a +1% Soul bonus for every enemy pierced. Maximum of 25%.
Mushroom Cap
Obtainable by slaying Mushrooms.

- Mycological Spawn (250 Mushroom Caps and other materials):
Increase the chance of spawning enemies by 20%.
Worm Skin
Obtainable by slaying Worms.

Unlock bigger enemy patterns.

and golden random boxes have already been suggested millions of times 😭
Adding more mats with very limited usage seems pretty redundant considering most materials rn are underused anyway, also adding worm, mushroom or wasp drops is pointless too since the whole bit with materials is to give more of a reason to switch dimensions, if they were given materials jungle would have 3 mats, hills would have 3 mats, MV would have 3 mats and city would have 3 mats, so they wouldn't even end up being additional incentive to switch. If a new material were to be added it wouldn't be any of the above. This is just unnecessary
The gold boxes is whatever I don't really think an extra 1x multiplier would do much tbh
1.5x relative to a silver box at a low ass chance seems way too rare for the benefit (probably just 3x coins)
If anywhere was to get a new material it should probably be funkclouds or funky speakers since FS has 0 but for a good chunk of the game you're always in FS anyway so that wouldn't really incentivise switching it would just give more reason to stay in the already good dimension
The CH achievement suggestion is also whatever just another rng dependent achievement for not really doing anything remarkable
The pierce upgrade could be cool as a DD maybe for earlygame when bow souls actually do anything
maybe a flat amount less bow souls but they can increase per enemy pierced and have it cap at like +200% or some shit so you can't do wind dash fuckery to have an infinitely scaling arrow

He said increase by 25% max which would be completely negligible just normal ass permanent bow soul upgrades give greatly more and don't require specific circumstances to use
Unless a horde was happening you would basically only get like maybe 8% max
on those bigass worm patterns

would make ch worse but potentially bow souls viable for a bit longer could be neat for gameplay varietys sake
Either way I generally think most of the ideas here are bad or unnecessary and that includes this hypothetical bow upgrade, bow works as is, minor changes could be cool but absolutely are not necessary
I don't think trying to fix what isn't broken should be a priority
