I played for exactly 1 minute. If I'm not mistaken, if you play in less than 1 minute the item is better. I think your verification is wrong, the logical operator.

Also I think the time it takes you to finish doesn't affect the item. It's not a boss fight.

On Steam, no message appears before receiving the chest; only the image of the chest box appears along with the larger chest from the end of the minigame.

it's a 40% chance of an armory drop if you have the dark divinity enabled, 20% if you don't
