It would be nice to have the ability to choose which version to play on Steam. Other developers have enabled this by making old versions selectable in the beta build menu on Steam.

I’ve had situations before where the PC update was released before the iOS update and both versions worked fine for me on the same save

And I will note that the version control is useful for an unintended way of playing the game that is explicitly allowed in the rules of this server
So not trying to sidestep any monetization with version control
But also if it wouldn’t break the game to allow players to use different versions of the game, why not allow players to have extra control over what they want their experience to be like?
