fake special box miniboss
a bunch of mid-game minibosses would be really cool
I think if you kill a giant with only 1 sword strike (aka when you go straight through it) you should get a material guaranteed, and 2 if you were to already get 1 normally
I don't even know if there's a proper term for it
a dark divinity where when you're afk your minions automatically claim and start their missions would be pretty cool
ok nvm I just found out that there's an upgrade that takes away the cost of missions, that dd would be OP as heck
oh
you're not at the point where the cost was meaningless
I am, I was just thinking the drawback for the dd would be so that missions done afk would cost more
didn't know it would just like cease to exist
(about ten times more by the way)
The Slayer points are irrelevant, it's all about the Divinity points. building up a mountain of them is integral to your progress. The more you have, the easier the game gets.
on that topic we need more bow modifiers like buckshot and dark projectiles
like a full auto where if you hold, the bow fires at 1.25 its fire speed
or one that increases its damage and gives it gravity
or even one that increases it from 3 arrows to 5
could be really fun to see
(this would lower its damage and attack radius by a tiny amount)
the "auto" part is the important part, the part that especially isn't happening
tbh bow is not even that important for like 90% of the game
like... if you lose the ability to shoot a bow, its not gonna hurt your progression speed much
and making it relevant just require a level of buff that is just unrealistic imo
It's fun to use tho
I mean it keeps it going when you hold so your fingers don't wanna evaporate
as a bonus, if you hold it while you're in the air and keep it held when you land, you keep firing on the ground
then don't do that
I don't get what u mean, it's not auto if it's just hold lol
But yea, plab wouldn't add this probably
its auto if its automatic
but yeah I just want more bow modifiers that aren't like hyper mode game breaking style, just fun to have
Yup, bow is so much fun to just fire, would be cool to have more effects n stuffs
also Tboi style homing shots would look really pretty as well
As per the rules, the game is not meant to be automated. Thus, highly doubt auto-fire Bow will ever be added no matter how many times it's mentioned
#👋welcome
on that note
This is an idle game
Have you tried turning the game off?
I don't mean turret fire
I mean if you hold the button down, the bow automatically shoots at your current unlocked pace
you still have to aim, it's not just do nothing
besides, the bow does 1 whole damage, and I've seen that lategame enemies have more than 1 health
so it wouldn't even be that meta or apocalyptic to have the 1-damage item that barely does anything to be more fun to use
I don't want it to be the next big strat, I want it to be a fun "projectile do projectile thingies" thing
The bow does more than one damage long before that point
As enemy health increases, so does sword and bow damage
wait what
I have NEVER seen a way to upgrade bow damage
....
its in armory isnt it
im gonna be real, I don't think I'll be able to unlock it THIS UA and it's my second one
(Bow also can reach higher than 200x souls, around the same as Rage in late-game)
huh
ok I did not know how wack the bow was
I feel like the auto fire thing should only just be an easy way to not ruin the screen then
because I did NOT know the bow got that crazy
something something players too new to the game dont know existence of features later in the game and made feedbacks anyways
well the stuff I'm proposing is for midgame
so there isn't like this negative parabola of activity
tbf, you will still be travelling slower and rage is mostly used for coins... plus bows struggle with killing giants still till super late game and some other stuff that make it still not too relevant imo
except that also means you don't really know when something is gonna end up being like crack shack sicko mode after like one upgrade
well even if it was added, i doubt it will be midgame... id say ure just getting out of the tutorial stage. the game is like any incremental game in that there are parts where it is just slow and probably intentional
I'm just post-Victor
i think adding complexity will alienate a lot of players who value the simplicity of the game anyways
is that like early midgame or late early game
just for a reference of game mechanics that already exist, you get some more bow related upgrade at a quadrillion sp
and its quite meh
ok I am NOT getting there any time soon
if things were to be added, they will probably be even more expensive that that
I'll reach that in July
but still I feel like more midgame stuff should be added that isn't like the most insane or complex thing ever, but also not completely irrevelant, just to keep things from feeling stagnant
like areas for example
you get Hot Desert at about late early game
just getting into midgame
tbh you can fly past most of the game if u know what ure doing and mid game is already the golden spot for content
and then the next and final area is LITERALLY AT PAST LATEGAME
if the game doesnt add endgame content soon, i think it will just continue to push its more loyal players away
honestly, just both mid and late stuff should be added
from what I see, midgame has a bunch of upgrades, but after your first UA, you've seen all the sights until the next big ramp
and at endgame, the soul tree is just basically a png, since after astral you're only ever gonna see tiny things added to it
I feel like more areas and quests should be added to midgame to keep you satiated until the next progress ramp, and in endgame should be where all the hyper insano-style upgrades should be where you're just like "so worth it"
no you havent
I mean like it gets REALLY slow until you do something big, then slow again
also the fact that quests reset every UA does NOT help
is there a lategame upgrade that prevents that or no
if not that really should exist
answer to that is still no, except for the quests that unlock new Equipment
yeah I feel like that should be a thing because on the first and second UA it does give the feeling of truly starting over but stronger but after that it's just really annoying
there should just be more all around upgrades that increase your ability to come back after a UA, because since you don't get anything but achievements for a second UA for over half of a 100% playthrough, if someone didn't know how wack the stones were, I could totally see them just going raw with no UA for a majority of the progression
because having to redo the entire quest progression line sounds REALLY brutal, especially the further you get
so naturally, when you get far enough down the quest line, you won't want to UA
because you've spent literal weeks getting to that point
but then you HAVE to UA, and it feels like a brutal sucker punch
it's just all around a flawed idea
It's almost like there are a lot of upgrades for that, some of which you already unlocked
the only one I've seen is Silk Master, and that still costs so many SP
WAIT THAT PROVES MY EXACT POINT BECAUSE I LITERALLY DON'T KNOW ABOUT ANY OF THE OTHER UPGRADES FOR PROGRESSION PRESERVATION
yeah I really don't like the quest reset
the point is that someone who has only recently beaten the first boss isn't going to know what endgame or even mid-game is like
