I've had this for last month or so. Every time I watch the daily CPS bonus everything else goes away often I don't even get the CPS bonus that I watched the video for.

happened today to me, i had daily 20x, another 20x and equipment boost, watched an ad for a chest hunt and then it disappeared

Even 10 minutes make you lose 1 to 2 minutes, and might even be a little more sometimes

You can lose your bonuses sometime from ad even if you played less than a hour

it's as easy as popping one random box (i.e. equip bonus) and then trying to watch the daily 20x cps bonus ad.

As this is a time sync issue and the problem is the game running not in real time, this is not something that should be fixed by buying the ad-remove, but by fixing the game.

It's not even tied to the in-game timer, coz it also happens when you pause the effects by visiting the village.

i dont have great constructive feedback, but one way to temporarily fix this issue, is by either removing the sync check after an ad, or by storing and restoring the active bonus timers when starting and ending an ad.

If you remove sync check after ads you will either you will be able to get eternal multipliers or you timer will continue while watching the ad

Can you go into more details? Did you have the game open for five minutes, did you have an ad open for an extended amount of time, or the app minimized or another app open?
If you're on iOS, the notification bar also counts.
