I don't know if the issue is just me, the progress bar takes quite a chunk of the side and when I press on the bar, I'm unable to move further right. This along with the frame rate issue ive not been able to complete any ascending heights since the update (the new mini update hasn't fixed the problem I'm having)
Secondly the progress bar and distance info disappear so quick I don't get a chance to see how far I actually got when finishing. Can you keep the stats up while the "Finished" text appears?
Happy to send any config info over if it'll hell.

you shouldn't be able to play that minigame on portrait

How did you do that?

I've fixed the issue causing lag in the next update

Awesome, I was trying to write an update

what still bugs me is you being able to play on portrait

I have a overriding rotate app (need it as I can't use my left hand well with charge cable in) and it let's me have my phone charging while using it in portrait (so cable sticks out top)

#

I fully switched it off and still had the issue of pressing on top of the bar stops me moving right.

vivid hawk
#

that is fixed as well

#

good to know that you are using an overriding rotate app

#

and it's not a bug

I can use it in landscape, just I was having same issues both ways. I thought it was meant to be played portrait originally, lol no the bugs are still the frame rate and pressing over the bar.

both fixed

Any chance you can make the final distance stay around longer?

#

Also big thank you for having those two fixed.

#

It disappears soon as "Finish" appears so I often miss knowing how far I got D=

#

If not nevermind, you've got much bigger things to get sorted than minor UI tweaks 🙂

Oh, ok, no portrait intended.
I was going to report a "bug" while playing this way. Sometimes it's not well to very badly centered (screen) explaining OP problems.
In fact you even have some moving plateforms going outside of the screen which don't comme back ^^

Just unlocked recently the ascending heights, never played without the orientation app off yet, so I didn't notice portrait mode didn't exist for it.

I think we probably aren't the only ones to play it portrait ^^ it's quite rational, vertical things are usually better ... Vertical. It's like running the bonus level in portrait to me, doesn't makes much sense.

Can't this minigame be better designed for this display orientation ?

you shouldn't be able to play that minigame on Portrait

#

what version are you on?

hybrid depot

Or os/machine ? android. Phone
version of android too ?

vivid hawk
#

ohh

#

yeah, it's not designed to be played that way

Yep ^^ just discovered this reading while checking if the "bug" were already reported.

That's why I developed into asking if it could be adapted better. We are probably numerous players with this type of app, not noticing, and running it this way without care, some not even coming here to find the answer.

In fact running a vertical thing horizontally is like running the bonus level in portrait (since I have the force app maybe is this not allowed too ?), doesn't makes much sense. Personally I may even find it a bit unpleasant.

Yes, that's one of the reasons the minigame isn't in portrait any more. It was, back in the beta test.

The rest of this sounds better suited for a #1171812283337424918 post than a bug report.
