Mimics were recently added to the beastiary! Yay!

Now Id like to request Alpha Victor be added! He already has all the elements of enemies and is in a unique scenario same as goblins, their kings, and mimics.

He also has all required criteria to match the beastiary requirements except one.

  1. He is a repeatable, yet much less frequent, battle. Similar to giants and mimics, his kills per level should be reduced.

  2. He is a named enemy

  3. He gives set rewards. Instead of showing souls/ gold, it could show the ring/rings (if you count excellent as unique)

  4. He has set hp

  5. He already has lore! Yay!

  6. He can be unlocked with the original first kill and have the 'alpha' battle be an evolution that way he can be earned earlier for original unlock.

  7. If original victor is not included, this would bring bestiary count to 60! What a lovely number that's divisible by 4! The best number in the world!

I get it... But putting a human in a bestiary sounds a little wack

Don't know the lore for alpha victor but the standart victor left humanity with that wacky magic he did in himself

I don't remember when but in the game they refer you as "ascendant" as something apart from humans

To reply to the earlier point on 'human in a bestiary', for gaming in my experience, the traditional medieval definition is not relevant. For medieval times it was for catergorizing animals, or beasts, which makes sense when all you have to go on is picture books and word of mouth for information.

For video games however, its typically used as a catalogue documenting enemies encountered and involves ALL enemies, including enemies that are human and even robotic. If we went with a traditional medieval definition then Golems may also not technically be considered since they are more like rocks than animals in that sense. Similar could be said about some of the other unique enemies that aren't typically catalogued in a medival bestiary to include soul barrely, poison gas, wild fire and fairies.
