I find it really inconvenient that I can't test on the same device. At the moment I've been sending my game files to another pc to test minor adjustments. For whatever reason, my game won't launch as an exe when I build it, so just sending that file is also out of the question right now.
Is there a more plausible way to go about this?? The larger my game gets, the more time this would take and the less I would be able to develop in a reasonable manner. Ideally, I would test without switching devices at all. I've seen this pretty neat Multiclient on the workshop, and I believe there's a way to launch each instance under separate steam clients with Sandboxie, although I'm not too sure how :(
If anyone has some suggestions, that would really help me out :)) <3
I do not have a developer account on steamworks for the time being, so obviously I can't periodically update my game and launch on a separate pc. I do not plan too have one until my game is near release.
