my boss is a Mac user and as punishment the GM IDE apparently slows down quite a lot. anyone else running into this?

he's able to ignore it and everything turns out ok

2023.11 has fixes for both of these - we are hoping to get a new Beta out this week

it does seem more pronounced on macOS but it is there on PC too

is the mac an Apple Silicon or an Intel one?

of course it is a general thing

things were being run on the main thread that should not have been, they have now been moved

#

it is also not just one thing that was going wrong so let us know if you are still seeing problems with this as there may still be some localised issues (in any report, please let us know what was happening when the slow down hit)

also a good idea to include project as it is sensitive to code structure and room contents
