A new weapon/ weapon type idea of power ups. They spawn just like weapons but have different colour spawn particles (maybe purple?) they can be triggered with lb on Xbox (idk abt PC or ps4) , you can on it carry one at a time, everyone’s power ups are displayed at the top/ left of the screen ( can be changed in settings) and can be limited like weapons in the versus customisation menu.
Power up ideas:
Magic horn: pushes people away from you
Raging fruit: boosts speed, fire rate and jump power for a limited time
Double/triple shot accessory (bad name ik): makes any weapon shoot two/three at a time (one going diagonally up one diagonally down and one on the middle of it’s a triple)
Totem of neverjam: insanely rare and gives an extra life (can’t be common or uncommon availability)
Boost Pad/Booster Engine: Either places a temporary booster pad or Give you a boost into the air.
Grenade rain: is there much else to say?
Teleport: teleport to the nearest player/ enemy to you
Rainbow Orb: makes all of your bullets rainbow and explosive on impact for some time.

Ok, I’ll do it then. I actually like the idea of what i will refer to as «tactical items». It’s something that i have been thinking of for a long time myself. They should have a different button for them to be used, and they should spawn at different locations than weapons of course. It should also be possible to choose which tactical items should appear in your games before you start, just like you can with weapons and modifiers
As for your suggestions:
Magic horn could maybe be good, but if it goes through walls, it could quickly become op when the lava elevates. Raging fruit: i dont like the faster fire rate, as it could be op. However, getting the abillity to move faster for a short period is a good idea.
Double/triple shot: Not a fan, sounds a bit too powerful imo.
Totem of neverjam: decent name, but extra life is a joke.
Boost pad: great idea, but maybe hard to make it work well?
Grenade rain: yes, you need to say more. But by the name of it, it sounds op.
Rainbow orb: Sounds op.
I will add another idea for the concept: you have to use the passive item within a certain time, so that you can’t sit on it for ever. This way, if certain items are slightly op, at least the other player can try to stall the time by running away. Also, there could be a short time frame when activating an item that makes you vulnerable.
