Some solo developer games can manage crossplay as well, it's not completely unfeasible. (And would solve issues with having an insanely difficult time joining matches.)

I swear I've seen one before, but also, I still don't get the argument. It's possible to do as a single developer.

Oh, and, "single developer crossplay games" isn't a very effective keyword for google so, yeah.
