S Grade Stuck at A

No matter how many times I complete this set of skins with an S Grade, it remains an A…is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

You need to do a better score than your A rank score

You probably retried one time when you got your high score. You can't S rank with a retry

But you did a better score than your other attempts

What do you mean you can’t S rank with a retry? See the score that is listed as A rank is way more than enough for an S Rank.

If you top out and hit retry the maximum grade is A

the bigger score you did is probably after you hit retry

So you are saying that the game mechanics simply won’t allow an S grade if you top out and retry, starting at a cleared field? Or are you saying that it becomes almost impossible to get an S grade if you don’t continue a multiplier from the previous set of skins and have combos prepped and ready right off the bat?

So let me get this straight. The reason why I keep getting an A is because, despite a score that is enough for an S- I usually don’t start at the very beginning of the Journey and play all the way through plus no restarts at all. I just try to attack the skin set. I mean, restarts happen, I don’t care how good you are.

Restarts don’t happen with clean stacking fundamentals because top outs don’t happen hardly ever

I just completed standard Journey no restarts whatsoever and earned an S grade on Resonance…it is still an registered as an A

My guess is 300k is S grade requirement

It’s not for normal mode. It’s like 240k give or take

In that case it has to be bugged somehow unless there’s something I’m not understanding

I fixed it. What I did was beat the 297,640 false bug score glitch (that I never scored in the first place ) with 302,712. And even though I had previously been awarded several S grades with totals in the 250’s, the only thing that displaced the false A grade was beating the glitch score, finally awarding the S Grade on Resonance.

Did you have 300k before and it was still A rank?
