#Lights

I'm not sure myself, but here's references
i feel like the problem comes from the um light ray's direction 🤔 but i'm not sure
It looks like it's coming from a Crack of light
Ya 💀
Honestly would rewatch the little mermaid--
maybe like this
oh then the point of perspective of the light source is probably a bit too close to the screen, maybe try making the rays more spread out idk
I LOVE YOU SO MCUH OMG
i would also suggest this direction for the lights
I would but I would have to change a lot of the lighting and stuff I have already spent so long on this 💀
i wish i can do fully rendered drawings with backgrounds >_< i'm not able to keep up with the rendering
xD i mean my background are all full white or gray haha, and i really wanna do dynamic lighting
but omg the struggle ikr
do you by any chance have those lines on seperate layer?
if you do, it wont be that much work and i think it would improve the mood i think
I have the shape of the lighting on one layer but I have the lighting to other stuff of different layers
its great anyway, dont take me wrong!
I am taking about like the lighting on the other stuff like the rocks and stuff
I would have to change thst
ooh that
tbh i believe people wouldn't notice if they are not shaded in right angle, it would kinda just change for the bottom two rocks on the left
If you just align the light rays on the water efect you have there, it should work without having to change the shading on bg
Soooo much better imo!
And it works just fine with all shading
(i woukd blur those hard lines a bit, but that's more style related)
HMMM idk I ask some people which one should I do and they said the one I already have should I make it brighter?
Hold up fixed it up a bit
I vote for this versiom 200%
OKK I added a bit more and shaped it a bit so I wouldn’t need to fix to much can you tell what rendering on the rocks and stuff I would need to fix
I hmm, I think the fastest fix iz multiply layer in dark blue, and then erase where the light would hit objects
That's without changing what you have already done
Can't wait to see it after you shade the character!
THANK YOUU also sorry one more question would the lighting on the face still be the same like the example you gave me
Hmm maybe add a bit more rays that point to her face in the same angle to match that shading, or actually just with a soft brush, a bit of lighter color
This area
So this shading would work
OKK THANK YOUU
I didn’t really wanted to add more rays bc I would have to add more of the water reflections on her arm and boob 💀
More refs to help you with shading
Just a soft brush will do then, just to give the impression that there is lights there too
