#Composition feedback

Hello there!
When It comes to composition, I am not sure if character is in the middle, seems a bit to the left to me. I would center the character.
Also, I kinda feel like the character should be way bigger.
The hand of the 2nd character seems to be close to the main characters foot, yet the foot is way too small. Perspective needs a bit work there, so a bigger character might fix that.
Also, the pose and anatomy kinda don't feel right.
The dramatic angle and foreshortening should be more exaggerated imo.
Here are some refs that might help you
Tried to find illustrations with similar composition, just got those two
Thank you so much for the advice
Np, make sure to send update if you feel the need for more feedback! 😊
here to give some help too! i'll come back in a bit with a redline as well
I'm gonna be at work in a bit so it'll be a while until I can update
But redlines would help a lot
I wasn't too sure on the perspective but I guess that by the refs given I should do some fisheye(?)
It can help to bring more focus to character, but feesh will give you good ideas with redline there
liking your idea a lot
the character is very cool, and this picture should express a dangerous environment once finished.
for this to happen, the central figure should be like, way way bigger to make them the Main attraction in the picture. they should take up most of the composition this way, looking looming and menacing over the fallen pov character.
do the same with other elements as well! maybe adding more screens (showing danger signs) to emphasize the "breaking into a facility" feel and make the space less empty. the door should be all within frame but smaller, and change the perspective to focus on the main character --> draws eyes towards the figure in the middle, less distractions
one way to also direct attention to the middle part is the placement of background elements: the warning screens arranged pointing towards the main character
i'll redline to show it!!!
Oooo
oh sorry this took a WHILE but here's what i also wanted to add:
- the background color has a really similar brightness and hue to the character so they were lost in it. this can be changed by giving the background a darker color so the characters pop!
- giving the main figures a darker lineart color and thicker lineart the closer they are to the camera will make them stand out better!
- i changed the perspective to that of the pov character: looking from below. this means the room and elements should bend accordingly
- dont be afraid to make elements overlap!! this creates depth in the picture
that's all i wanted to add! hope it helps
Yes this helps a bunch! Thank you so much!!
