found the issue: CloudFlare was caching the JS file 😳

So you’re able to edit .js files, and the changes persist after a server reboot?
Ye... I jus tested by accessing the website directly locally instead of through CloudFlare and those changes were visible. I feel stupid for not thinking of caching issues sooner 😳
Oh, that’s cool. I tried editing some JS files once, but every time the server rebooted, they were replaced with the original ones.
In case this happens to you, the best option is to clone the Dynmap GitHub repo, edit the files you need in DynmapCore/src/main/resources/extracted/web/*, and then recompile your own version.
