#Only overworld and only 2D

Hello, trying to make a big custom maps. I need to have only a 2D map just to see where things are and i dont want any cave or isometric view. Can you tell me where i need to go to change that? Im going crazy, any time i try to edit the file worlds.txt or other my game crashes.
