Yes but I can't find what the command is
All of the commands are there, setting world limits, radius renders and so on, each with a detailed discription of usecase
/dynmap radiusrender world:surface 0 0 2500 doesnt seem to work
Question, is the world or area already rendered in Minecraft? Dynmap does not render the world. It will only create a map of the rendered world.
The world is fully rendered with chunky
So is it rendering at all?
Are you entering this in the game or in the console on the server?
I tried both
And when you look at your game, Files is the world named world or did you customize that?
So when you look at your Minecraft server files, do you have a world folder in there? Or is it called something else?
For example, if you change level-name=world in server.properties to level-name=MyAwesomWord, the world folder is now call MyAwesomWord and all DynMap commands will need to be adjusted.
in the above example, it would be MyAwesomWord:surface
and I do believe it is case sensitive.
I can send the config again. But I'm sure the only thing I tried to change is a better resolution(dit not work) and I disabled the nether and the end and world:cave
the config to change the world name would be a minecraft setting not a dynmap
if you put in the command /dynmap stats what is the output? does it give you world statistics or somthing else
OK, so Questions, your origional question was how to render a specific area
correct i want to render the world:surface by 5k x 5k
beacuse thats where the world border is and i dont what to look futher
So from what i am seeing the Flat map has rendered, so is that avaible in Dynmap to veiw
yes i did dynmap fullrender world:flat and stoped it right when after it hit the border
when you open the side panel, do you see the option to veiw surface?
you see anything if you select the surface veiw
i was abel to do dynmap fullrender wolrd:surface to get this
how long ago was that
about a 40 min
are you getting messages in the console that it is rendering
yes if i use dynmap fullrender world:surface
but if i use that command it will got past the 5k 5k border
how did you get the flat to stop, or is that boarder more than 5kx5k
and i am assuming your work is bigger than 5k X 5K
i did dynmap cancel world
oh
world is bigger but i only yes
but the border is on 5k 5k
but now it will render past the 5k 5k border
and that isnt wat i want.
Visibilitylimits : if defined, this list of rectangles can be used to restrict the area of the world to be rendered: areas outside of these rectangles will not be rendered with accurate map data, but instead some form of filler will be used (depending on the hidestyle setting, below). If the list is empty (the default), no limits are implemented, and maps will be rendered to the edge of the generated chunks for the world. Each rectangle consists of two coordinate pairs - x0, z0, and x1, z1. As of 1.5-alpha-3, circular areas can also be defined, by providing an x, z value for the center and a r value for the radius, in blocks.
That is something you would need to define
Was that hidden limits and brackets in there before? you need to take that out. When working with yaml spacing punctuation is key
Didn't touch it. It is default
Oke
Looking at your screenshot from above, it was not in there
Oh wait yes it was. I think you put that in the wrong spot by the way.
Can you upload a copy of your world file?
along with the crash report
here you go
@nimble nacelle
oke so i fixed the crash
yaml doesnt like it if i use tab i needed to use space
this should make it 5k x 5k right
how do i also fix it for the flat world
My understanding that’s a global setting for the world! so you just have to re-render and it’ll render out to that area for all maps associated with that world
That’s either gonna make it 5K by 5K or 10 K by 10k I would have to test
oke this works thank you
