Hey i did a chunky rendering for a radius of 10.000 blocks and then started a fullrender.
I placed a worldborder at 10.000/10.000 so it won’t try to render any unloaded chunks.
It’s now been rendering for about 12 hours and the server has been lagging since, I would like to know how far the render is yet because the server is pretty much unplayable with it rendering on max load and I don’t understand the rendering statistics

it needs to render 2586066 tiles, at the speed it says, just calculate the duration
Thank you very much
then it has to render 62 more hours with it running already for like 24
Isnt that crazy much for rendering a 10 000x10 000 area? I read about fullrendering taking days, but i assumed speaking of days were speaking about an entire minecraft map which is several million blocks wide
And as the server is quiete laggy with it rendering at max load, i would like to pause the rendering with /dynmap pause all to later confirm it with /dynmap pause none. Can i really do this and then resume at the tiles that have already been loaded? I would hate if all these hours would go to waste.
And can i restart the server during this or will restarting the server cancel all the progress so far?
no, not for default settings
renderaccelerateinterval: .001 tiles-rendered-at-once: 10 maxchunkspertick: 400 parallelrendercnt: 10 fullrenderplayerlimit: 0 per-tick-time-limit: 200 fullrender-min-tps: 5 (configuration.txt) here the server has 10 cores, change the parallelrenderct to the amount of cores you have. Next do /dynmap pause all, restart and finally do /dynmap pause none.
that pause all pause none should work, you can also set the fullrenderplayerlimit to 1 to pause render as soon as a player joins
Oh thats really Great thank you very much

Hey i did the parallelrendercnt to 8 (cores of the server) and the fullplayerlimit to 1 and it seemed to work fine but it wasnt faster for what i noticed
with it still having about 500 000 tiles to render i wanted to switch it back to 4 parallelrendercnt and fullplayerlimit 0 as it had no bad impact on the server performance
i then paused all render and made those changes, restarted and unpaused but the render wont start again and i also dont get any notifications ingame about the tiles being rendered as it was before
with /dynmap stats the tiles which are left to render even got slightly more and i dont know how to finish the render now
its been rendering for days now and i really would love to render the last few tiles to the end, can you help me fix it?
Please read #rules #3... [This is an automatic message that was triggered by keywords in your message]
you need to also change the tiles-rendered-at-once value, as per the guide
renderaccelerateinterval: .001 tiles-rendered-at-once: 10 maxchunkspertick: 400 parallelrendercnt: 10 fullrenderplayerlimit: 0 per-tick-time-limit: 200 fullrender-min-tps: 5 (configuration.txt) here the server has 10 cores, change the parallelrenderct to the amount of cores you have. Next do /dynmap pause all, restart and finally do /dynmap pause none.
Thank you for the Info
np
So i made all of These changes and the render actually did Start again and Even rendered about 120 000 tiles but now it stopped again and Is Stuck at aprox. 480 000 tiles :/
Thank you so much for your Support
The Server is empty and Running since about 12 hours and ive checked the Progress singe about 6 hours and its completely Stuck
what is the output of dynmap pause?
Thats /dynmap pause:
somehow it also added 2 tiles again
then idk, just wait and see
it hasnt been rendering a single tile for almost 24 hours, do you really think it will continue? when it rendered it rendered pretty quick and continiously before
it keeps adding tiles however
there really isnt too much thats missing
it should just finish the circle
Still nothing
odd, did you restart at all during this render?
Yes everytime when i made changes in the config
Last Time Here
i would suggest to cancel this render and re execute a fullrender, and not restart while it is doing so
Allright ill do that thanks
np
