I already use cloudflare to proxy the server IP so my whitelisted members can use a custom IP to log in. I purchased a domain and on cloudflare in the DNS management I created a type A and an SRV for it. Now in my small brain I though I could simply make a new SRV record using the dynmap port and make it map.kokocraft.ca jsut like my ip for the server is play.kokocraft.ca. So I copied the steps but it doesn't seem to work. I can view the dynmap with IP:2052 just like before but typing map.kokocraft.ca doesn't give me anything. I know it's not directly a dynmap issue but figured it's a common problem

Pastebin.com is the number one paste tool since 2002. Pastebin is a website where you can store text online for a set period of time.
Http traffic of dynmap only supports an A record, srv is used for other type of traffic used for mc servers, you need to define an a record to the ip and then it would be sub.domain.tld:dynmapport
can I define two different A records for the same IP ?
this is the setup I have rn
do I define an A record to the IP:dynmapport
within my A record I can't define a port
np, glad it worked
