Heist question

I was finishing the casino heist and at the very end it said I lost connection to rockstar servers and when I loaded into the lobby again I didn’t gain the money I was supposed too nor was I able to start the heist and redo the finale. Did I just loose the money or will it show up at some point? I’m confused .

What is the meaning of "...very end"? Did you complete the heist or not?

Yes I got to the people at the very end when it said I lost connection

Then you were unlucky (you won't receive the money because the heist wasn't completed). If you're not having connection problems, it was probably a problem with Rockstar Games' servers.
