Not only is the work done for you but you never run out of space as long as you don’t fill your businesses to capacity and swapping DJs has become obsolete thanks to how easy the two popularity missions are so you don’t even have to pay a dime to upkeep. Many folk complain about driving the client but that’s primarily because they all drive like maniacs. Drive with a sense of urgency but never like a maniac and you’ll realize just how easy it is.
There is no reason you should max it out either. Should you decide to expand in the future, renovations can be made at any time. I can’t tell why many people forget or deliberately choose to ignore it. Getting that infinite supply without having to make payments should take precedence over something that can be done in future.

Renovations in terms of cosmetic upgrades are just that but when I use renovate in this context, I mean you can add more businesses in future should you wish. It’s quite ridiculous how people seem to recommend spending a ton of money before securing a limitless source of income.

You’re asking the wrong person. I only run the businesses I actually want and don’t really care about the good ones when it is all infinite anyway.
It is less about the businesses than it is about understanding the fact that you never run out of space if you don’t fill it to capacity. Add the fact that payments are obsolete and there is no limits. The only limit is when you fill any of them to capacity be it one or five storage levels.
