Anyone else have to delete and reinstall rockstar games launcher anytime they open gta on pc, if i dont do that it alwasy says connection error or something along those lines. only fix ive found is to delete and reinstall the launcher every single time i open the game which is very annoying. just wanted to see if anyone else is dealing with this problem.

but its def not my internet because i uninstall rockstar games launcher then boot up the game and install it againa nd it works perfectly fine

its been hapenning for months now, i did actually just now see a reddit post where other are having this same problem 8 months ago so it isnt just me
i guess rockstar just doesnt care about pc tbh if its been a problem for 8 months now

the only solution i saw in the post is vpn
just tried vpn and it doesnt work ethier for me lmaoo. its not the end of the world but it does suck that rockstar doesnt fix simple issues like this. but i preciate your help man

nahh cus ill delete rockstar games and reinstall it and it works perfectly fine so its not my connection it could possibly be something with my files but i doubt it since other people are also having this issue

lowk my pc doesnt have any antennas so i cant use bluetooth wifi im sadly forced to ethernet who knows maybe thats it but doesnt make to much sense to me personally

Your pc doesn't need antenna but you do need a router for wifi
I use a laptop and it doesn't have antenna itself but I could use wifi and Bluetooth no problem

most laptops have some sort of bluetooth inside them for the use of wifi my desktop didnt come with any ive tried wifi it sadly didnt work
i saw on the reddit post that it could have something to do with the county i live in but idek rockstar just needs to fix this simply issue thats been happening for 8+ months now but they probably will never fix it cus they dont really care about pc

Typical there is always a software from the mainboard manufacturer to get all driver updates

so after figuring out how to update all my drivers manually lmaoo it still doesnt work i actually have no idea, i thought this would work but i guess not. i updated my chipset drivers manually and also searched for every driver update in device manager and its all up to date. in deivce manager it did say this "the specified location contained no driver package .inf files" but i have no idea if thats bad or how to fix it lol im probably just stuck having to delete and reinstall my rockstar games launcher every time i open the game tbh.

holyyyy shit i found a fucking fix. because social club hasnt been updated in a while on pc every once and a while you have to go to file explorer-documents-rockstar games-social club and delete the cache folder. thats why everytime i deleted rockstar game games and reinstalled it, it was working because i was deleting the cache folder. still kinda lame i have to do that everytime i open the game but its a whole lot better than deleting rockstar games and having to log back in. im just gonna leave this fix right here for anyone else that might need it
