#Deliver EMP – Inconsistent Detection Issue

I gotta disclose I don't do heists so I have nothing to go off of besides these clips but have you tried to consistently take center mass at the scientists? We know the guy right in front of you spun around quicker as if he heard something and as much as I don't want to suggest this, I'm thinking that stray bullets ricocheted and traveled further when taking a headshot at the second scientist.
This only happens like 2% of the time, the 98% is the other clip where I don't get detected. I don't really know what causes getting detected or the guy to turn around to be honest
A theory is it apparently due to a glitch some bullets go through the body instead of hitting the body and then alerts the guards.
That's kinda my thought too. You clipped the second scientist in the shoulder which is closer to center mass than the headshot you pulled in the failed clip. You say there's no difference but I saw one hence why I asked about consistently trying center mass.
I don’t know if shots fired at center mass “clips through” as you say and I’m unwilling to start my journey in heists just to test it but if they do then it really is a coin toss but if it doesn’t you’ve got a possible solution.
In the fail clip you shot the left guard first and then the right one - could be that please check and update if thats the issue, gta has very weird, super inconsistent mechanics when it comes to guard detection, and not only that, every missions and heist has their own detection mechanics
Could be that if you shoot the left guard first (right before the fail) the bullet goes through him and hits the wall next to the right guard and alerts him
Yeah, it doesn't have been really often. But it's been a problem since 2023 and I still don't know what causes the guy to turn around. It doesn't really happen very often like maybe 2% of the time
Another theory I've heard is that when they changed the guards to spot dead bodies on Cayo, and that changed something on this Mission as well.
I see the issue now, its not the last 2 bottom guards but the single one after the 2 scientists
Lemme check again
Yes, that's the issue. My point is that both Clips are similar and I didn't do anything different. But in one clip he turns around and the other one he does not
In the fail clip you shot the scientists from further away, which angled your bullet in a way that it goes through the scientist and hits the ground closer to the guard that got alerted
On the success clip you were much closer and shot in a more downward angle where the bullet hit the ground further from that guard
Could be, the reason I shoot them from quite far is that if you shoot them too close then they start walking away
Im pretty sure that this is the reason, you can still shoot from further away as long as you shoot in a way where you imagine the spot where the bullet will hit the ground so it will go as far from the guard as possible
Watch your fail clip again and stop at the moment you shot the first scientist, look how close to the guard the bullet lands if it goes through the scientist and into the ground @placid mulch
And compare that to the success clip in which the bullet would hit the ground much closer to you
Thats my strongest theory right now
Also solid gameplay, very smooth, good stuff 👍
Update me after you test it
Yeah thanks, I actually made a solo tutorial for that mission just because I know a lot of people struggle with it and I have a very easy method for it. And all the other YouTube tutorials I've seen for not quite bad. I usually don't bother uploading videos to be honest
I'll just let you know next time I find some randoms to do it with lol
I would do it with you but im not on ps5
Crazy, good job man
Real gta veteran right here
I don't know if it's something to be proud of or ashamed of. I think I've played this game too much...
Definitely something I enjoyed when I was younger but now that I'm getting older I think I see it as a waste of time
My female character is 1187
Center mass (shoulder) might be what absorbs the bullets preventing it from passing through in the success clip. In the failed clip, you took headshots which are much smaller targets that presents ricochet as a possibility.
you have two characters?
thats quite alot of gameplay between both
On 1 account
oh :D
Thankfully I play less now
was confused cuz ive seen both with pretty high ranks somewhere but was wondering how is it male and female later on xd
vice versa
I don't remember posting that much lol
He's 1800, she's 1187
it was a long time ago i think
but impressive regardless
