If you haven't done the treasure hunts, I highly suggest doing them. They might take a while, but completing all 3 of them will give you around 850k or so. Here's a video covering all 3 of them.

You can do fooligan jobs. They pay 50k per mission, and you'll be making progress to unlocking the equipment upgrade for the acid lab too.

You can also check out the flight school. They pay 25k per challenge if you get the gold medal, totaling 250k.
