An alternative to the MK2 Sniper Thermal Scope is the Quad Lens military helmet
It can be used with any weapons (or no weapon), and you can put the long range scope on your mk2 rifle to get even more zoom.
just make sure you have "visor down" set when you put the helmet on so you can activate it; then you can turn it on and off at any time with RIGHT-DPAD
