As it took a while to build up some $$, the buzzard was my go-to and I built my flying stat by flying it all the time

Yes, but both the Hydra and the Lazer are both at a hefty disadvantage if you know how to cobra properly

Quick loop and light it up with the explosive cannons

It's not as good if you go head on against either the Lazer or Hydra, but with the right loadout you can easily twist the board in your favour

Weapons are the same on both planes, but the lazar is indeed way more agile. However once up to speed I'm pretty sure the hydra is slightly faster.

I still find the savage better with its canon. Akula is nice too, don't get me wrong, but I like the Savage more (I don't use it for pvp tho). What I do with a heli is making my prep/steal mission easier. Which that explosive cannon does. The akula is better for pvp with its armor and its ability to go off the radar.
