becasue godmode glitch is a neverending whackamole for rockstar
they can't actually patch it becasue it is believe it or not, part of the gameplay mechanic
these glitches replicate that step so rockstar can't actually patch that out
so they can only band-aid the specific way someone has figured out
rockstar does that, someone else figures out another way
and the cycle continues

the D5 is popular now becasue it's bugged bulletproof until the next DLC
so while you can be shot out of a godmode speedo for example, you can't with the D5
